For all of the right reasons. Relight from Lithonia Lighting

KLI is known as the premiere lighting manufacturer’s representative in Hawaii since 1976.  In general, we promote our lighting manufacturers through Architects, Engineers and Designers and distribute through wholesale electrical houses.

KLI was originally incorporated in 1976 under the name KLOPFENSTEIN’S and operated out of a house in Hawaii Kai.  In December of 1987 we moved our operations into our present location on Nuuanu Ave in Downtown Honolulu.  In 1997 we reincorporated as KLOPFENSTEIN’S LIGHTING INC  (KLI).

Saving energy by installing skylights will not happen without the additional step of installing controls to turn off the lights that are no longer needed. The ease with which the system operates is also a big factor in making sure that the energy savings will be realized.

For this reason Solatube International has teamed up with Lighting Control & Design to bring you one of the easiest, high performance daylighting systems available. We've come up with a solution that allows room occupants to turn daylighting on and off like normal electric lights.

Solatube Tubular Daylighting Devices, also known as TDDs, capture daylight through a roof-mounted dome and transfer it into interior spaces through a highly reflective tube. The ability of these tubes to accommodate 180 degrees in turns and to span several floors without appreciable light loss means that spaces previously not capable of skylighting can now be considered for energy savings.

Daylighting plus Controls = Energy Savings
